Fieldguide has been named a winner of the CPA Practice Advisor Technology Innovation Award–for the fifth consecutive year.

We’re honored by the recognition. We also see it as a reflection of our customers’ trust in a long-term bet on meaningful progress.

This award is not given for potential. It’s earned through consistent execution and real-world innovation. Over the past five years, we’ve reimagined what AI can do for audit and advisory by introducing agentic AI that executes full workflows, not just isolated tasks. We’ve delivered deeply embedded AI that works the way firms do, launched the profession’s first AI Maturity Framework, achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification for responsible AI governance, and scaled our platform across practices, geographies, and firm sizes. Every milestone reflects the same goal: to move the profession forward with purpose-built technology that drives real outcomes.

Changing How the Work Gets Done

What does that mean in practice? Not just faster work, but better work. Our customers are seeing significant efficiency gains, but more importantly they’re achieving deeper insights, stronger documentation, and higher-quality outcomes delivered at scale.

All of this stems from the simple belief that this profession deserves better technology. The kind built for auditors and advisors, not retrofitted for them. The kind that helps professionals focus more on judgment and relationships, and less on manual documentation or tool sprawl. The kind that truly changes how the work gets done.

This stands in contrast to what we often see in the market. On one side, there are legacy tools that haven’t meaningfully evolved in years. They were built for a different era, and it shows. On the other side are newer entrants that may appear modern on the surface, but don’t have the product depth, audit alignment, or AI expertise to truly support the profession.

It’s easy to add a chatbot or wrap a generic model and call it innovation. But audit and advisory demand more–more transparency, more control, more respect for methodology. That’s why we’ve taken a different approach by embedding agentic intelligence directly into the workflows firms already rely on, with the security, scalability, and oversight they require.

Built for What's Next

Fieldguide was built not only for the profession as it is today but also where it’s going. From automating full engagement workflows to supporting complex, multi-practice firms with a unified, cloud-native system, every step we’ve taken has been about enabling sustainable growth and better client service.

That’s why the Innovation Award matters. Not just for the recognition itself, but for what it signals. Firms aren’t just choosing software anymore. They’re choosing a path between maintenance and momentum.

The firms betting on Fieldguide are betting on the future. They’re choosing a partner that ships real product, sets a high bar for responsible AI, and understands where workflows break down–because we’ve lived them.

To our customers: thank you for leading the way. To our team: thank you for building the kind of product and company that earns trust, one innovation at a time.

Five years in, and we’re just getting started.
