When we started Fieldguide, we didn’t set out to raise money. We set out to solve a problem we knew intimately; a profession being asked to do more, with less, under rising scrutiny. Today’s announcement, our $75 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs, is a milestone that we’re proud of – but it’s not the most important part of the story.

The real story is that the future of audit and advisory is changing for the better, with human practitioners collaborating with AI agents. This moment solidifies the shift from experimentation to expectation, from possibility to inevitability.

The Industry Has Spoken. We’ve Been Listening.

For years, we’ve had conversations with firm leaders who saw the writing on the wall: growth models tied to hiring alone are no longer sustainable. They’ve told us about the talent challenges, the burnout, the backlog of work that never seems to shrink. They’ve asked for more than dashboards or digital file cabinets. They’ve asked for a better way to do the work.

That’s why we built Fieldguide as a collaborative, AI-native platform from day one – not as an add-on or a shiny tool, but as a new way to execute engagements from start to finish, with human expertise and AI agents working together to deliver higher quality and compliant results. This is agentic AI, and it’s not theoretical or future state. It’s happening in live engagements today.

What the Funding Really Means

Goldman Sachs’ investment validates something we’ve known from the beginning: this isn’t just a software category - it’s critical for a profession under pressure. They’re not betting on another bolt-on point solution. They’re backing a true platform that firms are already using to handle the core of their most important work.

This partnership allows us to go deeper by expanding agentic AI across more practice types, building out the Fieldguide agent marketplace, and supporting even more firms who are ready to modernize how assurance is delivered.

What Comes Next

If you’ve been following our journey, it’s clear that we believe the future of the profession depends on how well we combine human judgment with AI. This round gives us more resources to do exactly that.

Fieldguide’s purpose is to support the firms who are ambitious enough to lead the industry’s AI transformation. If you’re a practitioner who believes the work can be better–less manual, more impactful, and aligned with the standards and trust that define this profession–then we hope you see this as an invitation. Standing still isn’t an option anymore, and we want to help you move forward.

We’re grateful to our customers, team, and partners for getting us here. And we’re excited for what comes next.
