Fieldguide: 2023 Year in Review

On behalf of all Fieldguide team members, I’d like to thank our customers for their trust and partnership in building the Firm of the Future with Fieldguide. We’re honored to partner with many ambitious firms to unlock growth, improve staff productivity, and delight clients. Our customers' enthusiasm throughout the year has inspired everyone at Fieldguide to work hard for their continued success.

Last year, Fieldguide customers achieved exceptional results:

  • On average, firms managed 2x as many engagements across 2x more practice areas in 2023 vs. 2022. We’re grateful to see how firms are expanding their use of Fieldguide to save hours on additional engagements, drive growth, and increase margins. Their game-changing results have also prompted expanded usage of Fieldguide across new practices at their firms.
  • Collaborated with thousands of clients in Fieldguide, with most firms achieving record, double-digit client growth. We appreciate our customers' belief in Fieldguide’s platform in driving a modern experience for their clients. Fieldguide aims to facilitate client collaboration in the cloud to drive greater client satisfaction.
  • Collaborated on 200,000 client requests and participated in millions of conversations on Fieldguide. For many Fieldguide customers, streamlining client requests is a top priority, and we’re glad to help save time and sanity by eliminating back-and-forth emails and follow-ups.
  • Tested 300,000 controls and requirements in Fieldguide, showing that firms are performing not only more engagements, but also more complex engagements. In 2023, Fieldguide customers managed over 30 types of different engagements, including SOC 2, PCI, HITRUST, HIPAA, SOX, internal audits, and other advisory and audit services.
  • Collaborated on 250,000 workpapers and pieces of evidence in Fieldguide. With Fieldguide’s modern document management, firms no longer have to worry about version control, downloading and uploading files, and other unproductive time just managing client documents.

These 2023 numbers illustrate how Fieldguide customers are using our solution to drive growth, margins, and happiness in their practices. We’re proud of what our customers have accomplished, and we’re excited to be an enabler of their success in 2024!

Fieldguide also achieved new product breakthroughs, enormous company growth, and industry accolades. We launched Fieldguide AI and expanded our team to ensure that customers continue to receive industry-leading R&D and support services. Fieldguide AI also won CPA Practice Advisor’s Technology Innovation Award for the third year in a row, and I was humbled to be on AccountingToday’s “Ones to Watch” list. We expect Fieldguide to achieve more growth in 2024 – in close partnership with our customers.
